Bringing together the further education sector to learn, develop, influence, support and exchange information, AoC’s Annual Conference and Exhibition is highlight of AoC’s events calendar.

The conference and exhibition combines keynote speakers, plenary and breakout sessions to inform, stimulate debate and provide the latest news from senior figures in government, education and wider business sectors. You can also find the latest innovations to support colleges in our  exhibition area.

After listening to your feedback from last year’s conference, we’re delighted to announce that AoC’s Annual Conference and Exhibition 2017 will be held over two days but the same great content will be delivered.

Watch AoC Chief Executive David Hughes' Welcome Message for the AoC Annual Conference and Exhibition 2017.

“For too long the FE sector has been viewed as second best and the poor relation in the education sector. The content, focus and mood of the 2016 AoC conference portrayed a new sense of confidence and optimism that I haven’t experienced in a long while. If you could bottle this positivity and take it back to each college in the land, the future for colleges has a bright outlook.”

Steve Lewis, Highlands College

Why should you attend the conference?

AoC’s Annual Conference and Exhibition is a valuable opportunity when senior leaders in further education can discover, learn, celebrate and shape the future together.

The conference is a place for professionals to experience and discover everything they need to grow their business – the ideas, the connections and the practical applications shaped from a programme designed to reflect the sector.

  • Learn

Find out about the latest policy directly impacting FE from those responsible for making it. Hear from leading experts in education and business and learn from experiences inside education and further afield, both nationally and internationally, and from colleagues across the country.

  • Network

Connect with your peers and find out how they tackle the issues facing colleges. Meet new sector leaders and catch up with friends and colleagues.

  • Innovate

Visit the exhibition hall to uncover the latest innovations in FE. Find out about the new ways these businesses and organisations can support your college.
