I found the AoC Conference to be an extremely enjoyable event which provided an excellent opportunity to hear best practice in a number of educational areas. This was my first time in attendance at the AoC Conference and I must say that the breakout sessions and the conference overall was really well organised and very informative.
I would recommend the conference as an excellent opportunity to increase understanding of FE and the challenges it faces and the opportunities it provides to interact with colleagues and exchange ideas/information and develop network links.
A stimulating and refreshing look at our industry, the challenges and direction of travel lined with numerous key figures to fill in the gaps and applaud the efforts of the sector at large.
The AoC annual conference is the 'must attend' event for FE Colleges. This year the range of speakers and sessions reflected some of the key issues for the FE system. Happily the mood was more optimistic than pessimistic! Student showcases were inspirational and remind us (if we need it) that the experiences and achievements of our learners are what matters.
This is the first time I attended the conference and was very impressed with the warm welcome I received, the professionalism of the presenters and the desire to share best practice. An outstanding event. Thank you.
The AoC Conference remains the prime event for exploring the developments and issues within our sector. More than that, the conference enthuses us and remind us why we work within and commit to further education.
