Students are an integral part of AoC’s Annual Conference and Exhibition. We are delighted to offer an amazing opportunity for the students of AoC member colleges to gain work experience at our flagship event.
We will provide students with real-life work experience at one of the biggest events of its kind for the further education sector.
We have places available in:
Catering and waiter service (Tuesday 19 and Wednesday 20 November)
Event management (Tuesday 19 and Wednesday 20 November)
Floristry (Tuesday 19 November – Awards dinner)
Performance, evening entertainment (Tuesday 19 November)
Press & media (Tuesday 19 and Wednesday 20 November)
Please note: eligible students will be required to demonstrate an adequate level of relevant skills and experience in the selected area, together with the maturity and enthusiasm required to assist a group of professional event managers and staff at the ICC, whose aim is to ensure the success of this well-established conference and exhibition.
Evening entertainment and performances
The evening entertainment and performances this year are required for Tuesday 19 November. This much anticipated social focal point of the conference needs an equally distinctive performance – could your college be represented this year?
We are looking for a student or group of students who can entertain the audience at the AoC Awards Dinner. We would like students to provide musical entertainment for guests during the pre-ceremony drinks reception and at the AoC Awards Dinner.
The closing date for work experience and entertainment submissions is Friday 20 September. We will be shortlisting and selecting the chosen candidates over the following few days and will inform all entrants of the selected colleges in early October.
